Dangerous, challenging, necessary and ultimately fulfilling. Such is the work of Christian Relief Network (CRN). It is rewarding to see children walk out of prison, rape victims receive treatment, ex-child soldiers laugh and displaced persons getting hands-on help.
Our field workers enter dangerous, hard-to-access areas, prisons and refugee camps to provide hope, courage and a belief in a better future.

Destruction of small arms
Since January 2009, 4000 weapons are handed in and exchanged in corrugated iron sheets, bicycles or sewing machines in North Kivu, DR Congo. The weapons are destroyed at site and time of exchange. This program has been very successful; the Congolese authorities and the Norwegian Government donor are impressed by the results.
Strange News in Brussels
Strange News, a multi-media concert merging sound, photographs and personal stories into a powerful experience. The performance has achieved international acclaim and has helped to shed light on the plight of child soldiers, thanks to a unique cooperation between an aid organization and two performing artists.
Great Day Centre in Women's Prison
There is great joy in the women's prison in Mbarara in Uganda these days. A day centre has been built, equipped and put into operation. This means that the mothers no longer have to send their babies away.
